Mike Tillemans 1993

My short term mission trip in January,1993 working at Ameva Bible school was very rewarding. One of the highlights for me was the fellowship with the workers there and the bible students.

John Valentine made us feel very welcome and with Martin and John Shaw helping us also we didn't feel like outsiders but part of the work. Having met them for the first time but enjoying fellowship in the Spirit with all of them. There was much work to do on the farm and in the secondary schools and always having some good fellowship and lunch at the Black Rose cafe in Chegutu. The Ameva trip opened my heart to the bigger body of Christ around the world and how God is working all over the earth. We ended our time at Ameva with a dinner with all the leaders at Ameva enjoying the Lord's people and the opportunity we were given to work with them.
