Pastor Kasbert Magaya

I came to Ameva Bible College in January 1984.Duringthe same year, Mr John Shaw and his

wife Martha came to Zimbabwe to establish a primary school. The Shaws asked me to help with the school during my free time then after my graduation in 1985, Rev Valentine asked me to stay at Ameva as a full time Teacher at the primary school. The Shaws left for England that

same year leaving me in charge and Mrs Valentine came in to help as the Head of the school.

I was also involved with Evangelism in all the farms surrounding Ameva. In 1988 we started a

secondary school in the primary school premises until Mr and Mrs Shaw came back again and

pulled the secondary students from the primary school premises and built a secondary school.

In 1995, I moved to Mashonaland Central to work at Hinton Estates and worked there as a

Pastor and Teacher for six years. I left Hinton Estates and worked with Destitute Care and New Hope Villages for thirteen years until the organization closed down in 2014.

We started our Ministry with my wife Lydia called Newhope Christian Fellowship in 2014. Since

then we are still being supported by the Valentines. The Ministry is still small and it was also

terribly affected by the Covid Pandemic which hit in 2020.

Greetings to you Pastor Terry l trained at Ameva Bible College in 2014 to 2015 l was taught by Rev Valentine Terry Watson Rev Dopora and Rev Shangairai and others l became a member of CMC in 2001 when Solomon married me Before l became a Pastor I worked under my husband.

ln 2021 l was appointed to be a Pastor of CMC. l am now leading the church at Ameva Chegutu, Dearlove and Maradhadhi.

Since l was born in a family not a Christian, Ameva Bible College transformed me very much l am happy because my brothers and sisters became Christian through me although my father and mother died before receiving Christ Through Ameva Bible College my desire is to go and preach the good news of Jesus Christ to non-believers so that they become Christian.

l just want to thank my husband he encouraged me very much

l trained at Ameva in 1996 to 1997

l was taught by teachers like Rev Valentine Francis Kadhani Spencer Shelmire John Carter

and others l became Pastor in C M C from 1998 in 2003 l was appointed to represent C M C at

Ameva Farm l also became lecture of Ameva bible college the same year in 2021 l was

consecrated as. Bishop in the same church currently l am leading many churches and Pastors

in places like Bunket, Gokwe, Chinhoyi, Chegutu, Kadoma, Empress, Zhombe, Sanyati,

Kwekwe, Gweru and others my study at Ameva bible college transformed my life very much l

came from a family that believed in spirit mediums ancestral worship cults and false prophets l

thank God so much
